I was going through a notebook I keep of interesting reading, old calendars and journal pages and such. I ran across a really good article by a columnist named Dennis Prager about the difference between morality and holiness. Here’s a link to the article:
Here’s a good quote: "…one needs to appreciate that holiness is not a moral category. There is nothing immoral in eating with one’s face inside a bowl. It is unholy to do so, but not immoral or unethical."
