” Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord; His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” Hosea 6:3
I sat out on the front porch with my breakfast, my bible and a notebook, but I ended up just eating my breakfast and watching the rain roll in. It started as small sprinkles and gradually worked up to buckets of rain. It then tapered off and we didn’t see it again for several hours. That afternoon, it started back up as a sun shower, with strange shadows and the thunder clapped with an oddly close sound as though we were witnessing the entire storm on a sound stage. My son drove me to work in the rain that afternoon and when we stopped, he just got out and praised God.
So many blessings….so many joys…so much to thank him for.
